Since its founding in 2017, Plingot, which specializes in app development, data programming, and IT consulting, has demonstrated an incredible growth journey. In 2023, they reached a turnover of 18.4 million SEK and employed 15 staff members. With a growth rate of 368% from 2020 to 2023, Plingot far exceeds the criteria required to qualify as a Di Gasell, an award that celebrates Sweden's fastest-growing companies.

"We haven’t been chasing awards in any way; we have simply focused on doing what we do best, and this has been the result."
Co-owner Andreas Ekeroth shares: ”Att vi blir pristagare i år igen tror jag beror mycket på vårt sätt att arbeta. Vi har byggt en platt organisation utan några onödiga overheadkostnader där fokus alltid ligger på kärnverksamheten. Vi har inga mellanchefer och vi är alla utvecklare som på ett eller annat sätt är en del av leveransen. Det ger oss en stark fördel i ekonomiskt utmanande tider.”
Plingot is unique not only in its organizational structure but also in how it operates as a supplier. Plingot strives to work on projects where they can take a more significant stake, as co-owners or, in some cases, even majority owners. ”Detta ger oss långsiktighet och möjligheter till fler intäktskällor än enbart konsulttjänster” Andreas explains.
The core of Plingot's success is their exceptional team of developers whose expertise, especially in 3D visualization and app development, is in high demand globally. Mio and Andreas, both developers themselves, understand the motivations of their employees and share their passion. "We try to take on projects that excite and challenge our team as much as possible. It drives our motivation and allows us to continuously be innovative," says Mio.
Moreover, Plingot is driven by a vision to improve and streamline its own operations. "We have a constant drive to enhance our business, and as developers, it is in our nature to create systems that streamline processes," Andreas explains. Examples include the system they developed to automate their invoicing or the app they created to keep track of the scores in their ongoing office ping-pong tournament.
It is these underlying motivations, the efficient organizational structure, and the high level of competence that has enabled Plingot to once again receive this prestigious award. Their goal moving forward is continued growth and development of their operations, alongside new projects as co-owners and development partners. ”Det fokuset har betalat sig hittills så något gör vi ju rätt”, says Andreas, with Mio agreeing.
